City of Fernley recently issued the following announcement.

2021 Mayor’s Clean Sweep

The City of Fernley and Waste Management has partnered up to bring you the Mayor’s Clean Sweep annual event is Saturday, October 2nd from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Meet at the Out of Town Park Gazebo to get cleaning assignments and gather equipment. All volunteers must sign a volunteer waiver to participate. Bring gloves and water. After the clean-up, lunch will be provided at 11:30 am at the Out of Town Park Gazebo. Please be sure to RSVP so we buy enough food for lunch.
