This is the same amount as the month before.

Andrew John Fernandez, a 27-year-old Hispanic or Latino man, was the youngest inmate in Storey County in August.

Overall, local jails in the county had 10 people incarcerated as of August.

Every year, at least 38,000 people are booked into Nevada’s local jails.
