Carson City Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement.

Coffee and Conversation with Mayor Bagwell

When: Thu, August 12, 8:30am – 9:30am

Where: Carson City Chamber of Commerce, 1900 S Carson St, Carson City, NV 89701, USA (map)

Description

August’s Topic: To Gravel or Pave
Many American cities are having the same dilemma as Carson City. Repaving roads is expensive and there’s just not enough gas tax monies to be able to fix roads that are now in disrepair all over the city. Residents are resistant to paying higher gas taxes to fix their streets. Many cities and states have turned to gravel roads as the answer. Can this be an option? As always, the Mayor will explain the situation, presents options, and hear your input.

Please RSVP for this limited seating online: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/coffee-and-conversation-with-mayor-bagwell-tickets-163438937261
