Storey County announces community open house for April 22 in Virginia City Highlands

Storey County announced on April 7 that it will hold a community open house on Wednesday, April 22, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Virginia City Highlands Community Center.

The event is intended to gather input from residents about local parks and amenities, as well as to update the public on ongoing infrastructure projects. Community members are invited to share their perspectives on existing parks, identify desired amenities, and provide feedback regarding Storey County’s newest park in Gold Hill.

County staff will also be present to provide updates about the Fiber Installation project that is moving into the Highlands area. The meeting will take place at the Virginia City Highlands Community Center located at 2998 Cartwright Road in Virginia City Highlands.
