Storey County announced on May 8 that residents who were unable to attend recent Town Halls focused on park improvements can still share their opinions through an online survey.
The initiative seeks community input regarding enhancements at several local parks, including Mark Twain, Miner’s, Virginia City Highlands, Louise Peri, and a planned park in Gold Hill. The county is encouraging all interested individuals to participate by completing the survey before the deadline of May 29 at 4:00 PM.
According to Storey County officials, the survey is designed to take only five to ten minutes and aims to gather feedback from as many residents as possible. The county said this effort ensures that voices from across the community are considered in future park development plans.
Residents can access the survey online and are urged by officials not to miss this opportunity for involvement. Those who missed earlier gatherings now have another chance for their perspectives on local recreation spaces to be included in decision-making processes.
This outreach reflects ongoing efforts by Storey County leadership to involve citizens directly in shaping public amenities.
