Storey County has announced its participation as a drop-off location for the annual Toys for Tots Holiday program. The initiative aims to provide toys to children in need within the community during the holiday season.

According to Storey County, “Each year Toys for Tots serves all children with needed toys for a brighter holiday season!” The county encourages residents to contribute, stating, “Help us … help the most in need! Your contributions stay in our community!”

Donations of new, unwrapped gifts can be delivered to the Storey County Courthouse. Gifts are accepted for children of all ages, not just toddlers. Drop-off hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm between December 1 and December 19.

Families seeking assistance can contact the Toys for Tots Hotline at (775) 884-2269. The hotline operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm between December 3 and December 19.

“THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING TOYS FOR TOTS!” Storey County stated in its announcement.
