Lyon County ranked 10th in Nevada for resident earnings in 2018

Lyon County ranked 10th among counties in Nevada by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Lyon County residents was $28,472 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 20,528 households with a population of 53,155.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Eureka County with $40,461 per year after adjusting for inflation – $11,989 more than Lyon County. It had 750 households with a population of 1,830.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Nye County with $24,117 per year after adjusting for inflation – $4,355 less than Lyon County. It had 18,668 households with a population of 43,705.
