St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community recently issued the following announcement.
Volunteers are needed to provide hospitality and assistance to visiting Bishops and guests who are attending the installation celebration and Mass.
The volunteers will be mostly at the Peppermill, greeting visitors at valet parking and guiding them through the hotel registration process. Other volunteers will be available at invitee meal functions to help them run smoothly. Some will be at the Mass to assist with the attendees. Shifts will be two hours, or more if you wish. They will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 23 until about 9 :00 pm that night and again at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, September 24 until Mass begins at 2:00 p.m.
We will need up to four people for each shift on Thursday, and fewer on Friday. A short training session will be held. PLEASE consider being a part of this exciting event! Send an e-mail to Sally Ramm at scramm@sbcglobal.net to get on the list.
