Carson City Rifle and Pistol Range Winter Hours Begin November 1

Carson City recently issued the following announcement.

The Carson City Rifle and Pistol Range will adjust to its winter schedule beginning November 1. The Range will be open to the public for drop in use Tuesdays through Sundays 8:00am to 4:30pm, weather permitting. 

The Range is open year-round to the public on a drop-in basis only (first-come/first-served; no reservation required), except for select holidays. Please call the Parks Office (887-2262) to verify holiday availability. Updates on Range closures and schedule changes will be posted on Parks Department website. (www.carson.org/range

Drop-in use for the range is $5/shooter (in-state residents) and $10 (out-of-state residents).  Annual passes are available for purchase on-line at www.carson.org/ccpr or in person at the Carson Aquatic Facility (841 North Roop Street) or the Multipurpose Athletic Center (1860 Russell Way). 

Group reservations are available to qualifying law enforcement, military, businesses, and non-profit organizations.  For more information on group reservation requirements, please review the Carson City Rifle and Pistol Range Reservation Policy at www.carson.org/range.
