City of Fernley issued the following announcement on November 8.

All vaccines available on a walk-in basis! Pfizer, Moderna, and Janssen vaccines offered for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd doses (for those with a compromised immune system only). All 3 boosters available to those who are eligible. Pediatric Pfizer doses available for those ages 5 to 11!
Moderna & Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Eligibility:
- 6 months after receiving second dose
- Individuals 65 years of age and older
- Individuals 18-64 years of age with underlying conditions that put them more at risk for severe COVID-19
- Individuals 18-64 years of age who are at increased risk for COVID-19 because of occupational or institutional settings
- Individuals over the age of 18 who were vaccinated 2 or more months ago.
