The Lyon County Office of Emergency Management developed an interactive map with current road closures between Yerington and Smith Valley. Mason Pass Road is only recommended for high clearance and four-wheel drive vehicles. The primary alternate route for NV-208 is through Carson City, if possible.
As always, do not drive beyond road closed signs. For information regarding the NV-208 Wilson Canyon closure, visit the Nevada Roads 5-1-1 website.
