Join a Park Ranger and Jim Woods on a spring birding adventure along the Carson River! Whether you are an avid birder or an outdoor enthusiast interested in local bird species, this hike will be an exciting experience for the whole family. Meet at Carson River Park at 8:30am on Saturday, April 8, 2023.
The hike will be about 3 miles long over a flat trail. Bring a pair of binoculars, scope, water, close toed shoes, and dress for the weather.
Need to Know:
- Dogs are not allowed on this hike as they may effect bird behavior
- Minors must be accompanied by an adult
- The hike is about 3 miles and considered easy
