How many people were old enough to vote in Lyon County during 2021?

Of the 58,029 citizens living in Lyon County in 2021, 78.8% were old enough to vote, equating to 45,749 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 23,554 were male, constituting 51.5%, and 22,195 were female, making up 48.5%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Lyon County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.3%.
