Of the 4,047 citizens living in Storey County in 2021, 83.1% were old enough to vote, equating to 3,364 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 1,745 were male, constituting 51.9%, and 1,619 were female, making up 48.1%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Storey County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.3%.
