79.4% of Carson City residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 57,957 citizens living in Carson City in 2021, 79.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 46,043 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 23,851 were male, constituting 51.8%, and 22,192 were female, making up 48.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Carson City during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.3%.
