Six inmates were incarcerated in Storey County in February

In Storey County, six inmates were incarcerated in February, the same as the month before, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections.

Henry Alexander, a 28-year-old, was the youngest inmate incarcerated in Storey County in February.

Perry J. Duncan was the oldest at 71-years-old.

Every year, at least 38,000 people are booked into Nevada's local jails.

Nevada has an incarceration rate of 713 per 100,000 people, which means it incarcerates a higher percentage of its population than any other democracy in the world.
