There were 5,312 students enrolled in Douglas County School District in the 2022-23 school year, 1.3% less than the previous year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 53.6% of them were boys, and 46.4% were girls.

Data also showed that the majority of students were white, making up 64.6% of the Douglas County School District's total enrollment.

Douglas County School District roughly covers 14 schools within Douglas County and has a main office in Minden.

Among the 14 schools in Douglas County School District, Douglas High School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,643 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Enrollment in Nevada has experienced a notable decline, falling nearly 2% over the last four years.

Meanwhile, Nevada has roughly one teacher for every 22 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for every 15 students.
