There were 61 Black students enrolled in Carson City School District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 5.2% more than the previous year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

Data showed that Carson City School District welcomed 7,362 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Black students comprised 0.8% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the district.
