There were 3,387 Hispanic students enrolled in Carson City School District in the 2022-23 school year, 1.3% less than the previous year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

Data showed that Carson City welcomed a total of 7,362 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 46% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the county.

Carson City School District was the only district in the county which enrolled Hispanic students in the 2022-23 school year.

Enrollment in Nevada has experienced a notable decline, falling nearly 2% over the last four years.

Meanwhile, Nevada has roughly one teacher for every 22 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for every 16 students.
