Carson High School had the highest enrollment among Carson City schools, welcoming 2,289 students during the 2022-23 school year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51% of them were boys, and 48.9% were girls.

The most represented ethnicity among Carson High School students was Hispanic, accounting for 47.3% of the student population.

Among the 12 schools in Carson City, Carson Middle School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 886 students, while Eagle Valley Middle School welcomed 782 students and ranked third in the 2022-23 school year.

Carson High School is part of Carson City School District, which roughly covers schools within Carson City and has a main office in Carson City.

In the previous school year, Carson High School also had the highest number of students among Carson City schools.

Meanwhile, chronic absenteeism has become a significant issue in Nevada since the pandemic.
