In Storey County School District, 61.4% of students meet or exceed ELA CCR expectations in 2021-22 school year

Of the 44 students who took part in the College and Career Readiness Assessment (CCR), 50.0% met the testing standard while 11.4% exceeded expectations, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

The number of Storey County School District students who succeeded grew by 42.1% from the previous school year.

Storey County School District's proficiency level in the 2021-22 school year was 61.4%, 16.2% more than the state's average of 45.2%.

The total enrollment of the Storey County School District was 433 students in the 2021-22 school year, 3.3% less than the year before.

Across the state, Washoe County School District had the highest growth in enrollment (1.3%), while Carson City School District had the lowest (0.5%).

The Nevada College and Career Readiness assessment is given to Grade 11 students. It doesn't determine if they can graduate or not, but can be submitted on college applications.

In Nevada, 26% of students met or exceeded expectations on math competence test and 42% of children achieved the same expectations in reading.

In comparison to the national average of 90%, Nevada has the fortieth-largest educational system in the country, with 94% of all K–12 students receiving their education in public institutions.
