There were 3,257 white students enrolled in Carson City School District in the 2022-23 school year, 2% less than the previous year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

Data showed that Carson City welcomed a total of 7,362 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 44.2% of the student body to be the second most represented ethnicity in the county.

Carson City School District was the only district in the county which enrolled white students in the 2022-23 school year.

Enrollment in Nevada has experienced a notable decline, falling nearly 2% over the last four years.

Meanwhile, Nevada has roughly one teacher for every 22 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for every 16 students.
