Enrollment Analysis: Pacific Islander students comprised 0.3% of Douglas County's district student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 15 Pacific Islander students enrolled in Douglas County district in the 2022-23 school year, 6.3% less than the previous year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

Data showed that Douglas County welcomed a total of 5,312 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Pacific Islander students comprised 0.3% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the county.

Douglas County School District was the only district in the county which enrolled Pacific Islander students in the 2022-23 school year.

Enrollment in Nevada has experienced a notable decline, falling nearly 2% over the last four years.

Meanwhile, Nevada has roughly one teacher for every 22 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for every 16 students.
