There were 5,361 white students enrolled in Lyon County district in the 2022-23 school year, 0.9% less than the previous year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

Data showed that Lyon County welcomed a total of 9,053 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 59.2% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the county.

Lyon County School District was the only district in the county which enrolled white students in the 2022-23 school year.

Enrollment in Nevada has experienced a notable decline, falling nearly 2% over the last four years.

Meanwhile, Nevada has roughly one teacher for every 22 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for every 16 students.
