There were 416 students enrolled in Storey County schools in the 2022-23 school year, 3.9% less than the previous year, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 52.2% of them were boys, and 47.8% were girls.

The most common ethnicity among Storey County students was white, which represented 78.4% of the student body. The second most common ethnicity in the county was Hispanic (13.5%).

Virginia City High School stood out with the highest enrollment among Storey County in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 150 students.

Enrollment in Nevada schools has dropped in recent years, falling nearly 2% in the last four years.
