Of the 415 Douglas County School District students who took part in the College and Career Readiness Assessment (CCR) in the 2022-23 school year, 52.7% did not meet English benchmarks, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

This is 1.4% below the statewide average of 54.1%.

Douglas County School District roughly covers schools within Douglas County and has a main office in Minden.

The number of students who failed to meet expectations in the subject rose by 7.9% the previous school year.

In Douglas County School District, most of the students who fell below proficiency were at the second lowest performance level.

In Nevada, the ACT serves as the College and Career Readiness assessment for high school juniors, evaluating whether they are on track for higher education.
